anyone with cc/pp manifolds?

does anyone have ceramic coated and port and polished manifolds...how did they change the response?? and if anything was it a worthy upgrade if your already around that area...

If you're already pulling the turbos off the engine, you might as well do the mani's since they're right there. Whether or not it's worth it depends on what kind of cost/reward ratio you're willing to accept.

I think it'll be best combined with everything else. PnP'ed Intake mani, Exhaust mani, Thottle body, and heads. Yes, if your already pulling all that stuff you might as well do it.

i had them. they were iight. iight meaning ok, par, satisfactory. even if you cc and pp them, they are still stock. honestly not worth the $ unless you do it yourself bc paying someone to pp would be throwing $ down the tubes. then you would just have to cc them, which just means sending them out.

The coating is the part that cost the most by far, porting them really doesn't cost that much..

well if im changing my tstat...is it going to be easy to get to my manifolds???? ive heard that the front clip of the car has to come off. the a/c condenser and radiator so i might as well go in there and get the manifolds done right??? or am i way off on this one?

what is the process of polishing? how do you polish the insides if you cannot reach them? do u use like a flexible shaft die grinder with a buffing wheel insert or something? even then i feel like u cant get it perfect.

extrude honing on the otherhand is just AWESOME - and expensive :/

Way off. Replacing your thermostat does not involve pulling the motor and replacing your exhaust manifolds does.

On the topic of cc exhaust manifolds does anyone have these from Vast? And if so are the worth it?

i know gettin to the intake mani is removing the y pipe and lines...but exhaust is only if i drop the engine and touch the turbos..im sad thanks third

sorry this may offend you, you make a thread about noobs not searching yet u havent searched jack shit cause i kno this has been covered b4, to remove the turbo mani u have to pull the motor, if it was as easy as u think dont u think we would be doin this with a k04 swap instaed of pullin the motor
