I am using the viper 5900 system. It beeped while iwas on audizine so i ran to my car to find my door wide open with a hole next to the lock. I cant fuckig sleep now. I cant deal with this shit. Car is going up for sale for cheap. Over 20k invested. Make an offer on it and i will part easily. This stress is not worth it.

And about the flamer in SA. They really need it here. Problem is the guys wait until you pull into your house and jack the car as you are getting out of it, or in alot of the cases you see in the paper here they shoot the person then take the car if the mess isn't to bad. Last month they went after a 300C, shot the guy in the car, then left it cause it was so messed up inside from shooting the guy.

Unfortunately the B5 S4 is an easy target since it has no immobilizer system.

I wonder if theives would be quick enough to troubleshoot a missing fuel pump fuse? Simple enough to remove at night before locking the car up.

Granted, this wouldn't stop them from breaking into the car and then damaging it in some way..

In short, a couple of theives tried to steel his ultra rare evo, couldnt get it so burnt out of spite. As the evo burned its parking brake cable broke it rolled back into his laser b5 rs4 and destroyed it too, not to mention buring his Puegot 205 parked next to it. Talk about shitty, especially to see such rare/beautiful cars destroyed at the hands of low life scum, it pisses me of just thinking about it. Pics on pg 1 and 2

why not invest in lojack, never understood that?? even in a parking garage bottom level about 4 stories underground it works...we operate parking lots...and my dads tt had lojack and to try it out we called it in when it was barried underneath a building and what not. and worked no if ands or butts

what you guys understand is these theives arent out driving the damn cars.. they arent sitting in their garage for days at a time.


they have the car for a few hours at most... and its dumped somewhere.


in that few hours.. yea lojack could help if you find your car stolen only minutes after it was.


you dont think these theives are looking for these systems... they know every hiding place they know every trick.. and if they dont.. then they arent stealing cars.


the fact is.. ify our car is stolen.. its stripped down within only a couple hours.. and dumped.. in those hours.. the car is down to almost bare metal.. lojack is found and destroyed.

and its going as far as if they want your car.. they will flatbed it if they cant start it.


go get a honda.. read the honda forums.. see the precautions those guys take and go see how even still with multiple layered kill switches.. removable steering wheels.. removing engine computer the best alarms.... these theives are still getting these cars. thieves dont take their time trying to start cars anymore.. if they cant do it or think they will have issues.. they already have other means of getting the car.

losign out on 10k in mods when your car is stolen? or paying whatever the raised premium is.. 50 or 100 more a month?

it's understandable why you're upset. How much is it going to cost to fix your door? someone might know your schedule. try veering from your schedule and then go back to the routine, have some of your friends who are interested in catching the thief set up a sting operation. Most insurance companies wont cover engine mods, at least not in ny/nj/ct. I call them all.

Your right but amateurs dont try to steal high end cars, to easy to get caught, not enough resource to get rid of the parts. Who ever is trying to steal your car knows what they are doing and has experience with audi's or someone asked him to get an audi for parts for a car that needs to be repaired. This guy (these guys) are not stealing the car to go for a joy ride. In this case it seems as if a newb is trying to steal your car.



Car alarms (the ones have installed don't work). Low jack is only has good as the guy stealing your car, like i said before if he is making moves on your audi he most likely knows what he is doing.

cant speak for south jersey or central that much but north jersey/nyc is just all about opportunity. there are bad areas and very nice areas all diverse. something is going down all the time. a city may be 10 min away from one to another. everybody lives jammed together for the most part. doesnt matter where you live.
