These are the " Fat Fives":





They are 17x8 et35 Broad 5 Spoke 4B3601025H.

The wheel should be ok but, you will have to be careful on the tires. I think you'll need a smaller tire than hte A6 uses.

no theywill not clear the brake calipers tried them on mine u will need 1/2 inch spacers and extended studs.

I know they clear B7 A4 and B7 S4 brakes.

u r absolutly rite im looking closer at the picture and it does have the same brakes. i guess the et. on these is diff. from the A8 fat fives?

They fit just fine! I us the fat fives on my 01.5 s4 advant as winter wheels!

wasn't there a fat 5 set up for a4's as well? i dont know if they vary between car models, but that could be one possible reason.

Fat Fives in 5x112 only came 17x8 et35, the 5x100 TT ones are 17x7.5 et33 or et38, I forget

The TT version was an ET32.

The A8 had a wide 5-spoke that was polished but, not the same:



Those were 17x8 ET48.

The main thing to note is that the "Fat Fives" that were on the 2000-2004 A6 4.2 and the 2000-2005 TT are forged wheels.

This is from the A6 4.2 Options spec list: "17-inch 5-spoke forged alloy wheels with 255 / 40 R 17 performance tires"
