I just got some quotes from the dealer here in Canada for some S4 body parts just wondering what other people paid.

I thought people paid around $500 for the S4 bumper in US

Bumper info was in the FAQ.

If you have a facelift A4 (years 1999.5 through 2001) then the S4 bumper should bolt right up to your stock bumper shocks. If you have an earlier A4 then you'll either need the bumper shocks from an S4 or a later A4. These are available from the dealer for about $90 each or on eBay for about $60-70 shipped per pair. Check the forum classifieds first.

The following prices are dealership list and the price for parts sold to a body shop. Your prices may be better or worse depending on your relationship with your parts guys.

That last one (Guide) is the piece that attaches to the car that the sides of the bumper snap into. It is a price for one and won't be necessary for most of you.

An interesting note is that they list difference part numbers for the US and Canadian S4 bumper shocks. This is probably due to their different impact requirements.

yes my buddy needs a new bumper for his TT. For a 3.2 bumper the dealer wants $1,800 for the bumper grills ect.... unpainted! So your price doesent look half bad

Dealerships do take advantage of a lazy demographic. The more you work for a better deal the more you get that better deal.
