OK, I had my A/C compressor changed last year, because it was making noise. In the process of changing the compressor, they found that it had some other leak in the system. The A/C dryer needed to be replaced. I opted not to fix the dryer at the time because the compressor cost me almost $1k to change and it was the beginning of winter anyway so I wouldn't be using the A/C anyway. So I finally got around to taking my car in to address the othe stuff and I was told that the compressor went bad again.
My question is could running the heat during the winter cause my compressor to go bad?
