    binding transmission a6 quat

    Need a little help. When I turn into a drive way or back up It feel like the transmission is binding up. It drive very smooth afterwards. However, I feel like I may need to add some fluide. I have a 99 A6 Quat. any help would be great.

    I have the same problem however I believe its my tranny going out rather than the fluid being low, as all the fluid levels were jsut checked and refilled. what kind of millage do you have?

    I have 114,341 miles. My tranny feels very smooth at all times. I only feel it when I trun the wheel sharp to the right or left and backing out of the drive way. I was hopping to ger a little help before I take it to the dealership. Ouch.

    If it's only when turning the wheels sharp it's probably the front axles, or rear differential. Could be other things, but those are what stick out to me.
