LED Brake lights and turn signals

I'm looking for some LED bulb for my brake lights and rear turn signals. But I don't know what the bulb number is. I looked on the bulbs I have now for any markings, The bake lights say P21/5W and the turn signals say P21. But I can't seem to find any LED bulbs with these numbers. Also what is the cheapest place to get these at? Thanx

If you are looking for aftermarket different colored ones, you can check here. Yet those are illegal, if not in most, all states. If you are just looking for replacements, go to Autozone. Talk to the guy behind the counter and he will plug your car info into his computer and tell you which bulbs you will need. They are not expensive.

But here is a list of all the bulb part numbers for 98 A4

Hey thanx, I was looking for that Sylvania site but couldn't remember what it was called. So after looking around a bit I think that the LED bulb that replaces the stock 7528 would be the 1157. I don't need colored ones seeing as how they are behind red tails anyway. Thanx for the info.

Yes sir. But you really don't need to order those online, unless you feel they would be cheaper than places like Autozone. But as I stated prior, they are not expensive at all.

Re: LED Brake lights and turn signals

(Dont mean to thread jack but I have a question that I want to ask and this seems like the place to ask it.) Hey seerlah, or whoever else can help me. I just got a crazy thought that popped into my mind when I checked out that aftermarket led site. I was wondering if I could change the side markers to a blue, or white, led so that when I put on my turn signal it would flash a cool blue (or white) color. I mean the side marker is already clear so it would show through. If this is possible, how would I go about changing the bulb? (taking off the marker cover ect.)

The side markers pop right out, I just slid an old gift card behind it to push in the tab and then it pulls right out. The LED replacement bulb for it would be the 3157. I think superbrightleds only have them in red, amber and white. They are on this page LINK

So if I decided to get side marker bulbs I would need 3457? Is there any specific kind of bulb or any one with the corresponding number should work?

They can all be found in the THIS LINK that Seerlah gave. Then just do a google search to find a LED replacement, for example the dome light takes a 6411 bulb. Search google for something like "6411 LED bulb" and you'll get results that will tell you what type of LED replaces it, In the case of the 6411 it would be the 4410. That's how I was doing it anyway. Here's cross reference for some of the festoon style bulbs.
