my bestfriend kevin (hiphoppopotamus) picked up his b6 while away in paris this past year...
it was a long awaited purchase, and an interesting one at that shopping/hunting online, and then filling in as his eyes and ears at local dealers around the bay...
he finally found a CPO'd 05' a41.8tq 6spd sport, and we've already got started:







-cleared corners/bulbs
-blacked out grill
-refinished calipers
-4" tips
-debadged
-cup holder
-cleared rear signals
-lic plate frame/screen
-VAG mods

to come very shortly:
-headrest mod
-ipod hardline
-roof rack (any low-pro suggestions you know of guys?)
-15/20mm spacers f/r
-25% tint around
-yellow fogs
-my dimpled/slotted rotors
-hawk HPS pads

for the first time he "gets it" and understands why ive been the way i have with my cars in the past
should be a fun car, and one he already truly loves...

cupholder mod is to remove the useless cupholder in your armrest...just pull up the rubber and remove those two screws. prego- hella room. vag mods were windows up/down w/ key fob, remove selective locking (all doors unlock w/ one push of unlock button instead of two), and tried to get drl's off but didn't take...pretty sure that was it...adam will post if there were more.

^ paperclip it...drops them down flush with the seat...looks clean a fits your head better
...i also did speed lock kev, when the car hits like 25mphs or something, the doors auto lock

I flipped the headrest around. Put the front ones in the back and the back in the front. Looks a lot better. IMO

yeah, I liked this for a while as a gimmick. Now it's just annoying since anytime I drop someone off, they act like they can't get out by pulling the door handle once. I've been too lazy to search for the code, but posting this might just motive me enough...

The one-click unlock and windows down with remote are really nice though.

Isn't that the truth? I really like how some people pry on the handle thinking if they pull harder it will open.

I did that too.. and I like the look much more. But when I wanted to switch back to how it was, I couldn't get the front rests off for the life of me.




Btw, what tips are those? They look REALLY good for being just tips, and doesn't look like they are just covers. How much did that run?

its scary you guys are just finding out about this...

...theyre 4" non-angled, rolled tips
they dont look like covers cause they arent...they are welded on, hence the picture above
