Matt (tamadrumr88) detailed my car today. Turned out great! Contact him if you need a detail. The front bumper is getting replaced/repaired so it was not touched...hence the reason it looks like ass.

    CF Hood shot for Fred

My stripped down sedan. Let me know if you need anything!

Engine build getting underway. Stage 1 - gather parts

    Powercoated pulleys and tensioners

They good stuff...je pistons, scat rods, etc.

AEB head on the way. Still need to buy high rate valve springs and ti retainers, new valves, and gasket set.

I think i'm gonna go with a gt3076r with a .82 ar....or if its too laggy then I'll just throw on a .63 hotside on it my friend has laying around.

the 30r .82 could work well, but might i suggest a 35r .63? which displacement are you going with? let me know if you need anything

I'm sticking 1.8L. So i was thinking 30r with a larger hot side for more hp....if it doesn't work out I can put my friends .63 ar hotside on. With the 35r I know its gonna be laggy...and then there isn't anything I can do about it.

What about my skills with the PC and Menzera? Sheesh you've seen my details:) You missed Jens GLI from H20 which was TOP Dawg material, but left and went back to Ohio early;) looks great Aeron! Class is almost over so I can lend a hand after the 14th with everything.

i see how you are thinking, with 1781cc's you are somewhat limited with turbo choice on a street car... the 30r .82 could have some decent potential with a gas higher than pump, but otherwise the .63 will provide all the boost you need and then some for a regular pump setup... i figured you were going beyond pump when you mentioned the .82 30r

it will be running meth injection so we'll see what happens. The pistons are 9.25:1 cr so i can run some more timing and boost then I would have with the stock pistons.

I also have awm Integrated engineering rods for sale...brand new.

    Yup

The Menzerna, more than most products needs to be done in small sections. It goes on like butter, but removing if it sits can be a bish and result in lots of flake and debris. Next time do a 2'X2' section at most and work your way around the car. I also really do love the Adams products, the Brilliant Spray Glaze makes the car paint pop like nothing else after a polish and wax.

Will do next time I try it, my supplies are running low so I'm looking to purchase soon. I really liked the workability and correction capabilities of the Menzerna (while leaving negligible micro marring) so I think I'll give that a shot... I've been using Megs Diamond Cut, #83, klasse AIO, Megs #7, Megs #26 almost religiously but I'm looking for more of a one step compound like the Menzernas... Dont get me wrong, the Megs is great but the two steps really kills me, esp since compounding is the shittiest part of the detail imo...

i dont think i'll ever understand why JE desgins their 1.8t pistons with so many valve relief cuts...it can't be a good thing when you can have a nice smooth surface like the stock pistons.

yeah my wiseco's have the cut for the center intake valve, just like stock pistons.

i dont understand why JE's have reliefs cut for every valve, and deep ones at that...
