    17" Special Edition to 19" r8 reps on a B7? Photoshop preview

Currently, I have the stock 17" Special Edition wheels, but Im going to get either RS4 reps or R8 reps. Since we've all seen plenty of 19" RS4 reps on a B7, here is a quick photo fix to see 19" r8 reps. Let me know what you think.

There are also real pics of the r8 reps on a B7 at Hartmann:

I say no to the R8 reps, something about them just doesn't look right on the A4.

So no body digs the r8s on the B7? Im a little torn, because Id like to put an Audi wheel on my car, but there really arent too many 5 star-ish options, besides the fat spoked s-line wheels.

Yeah, not really feeling it either. I think it's because there is too much gap between the spokes for the lines of the car. Something just doesn't look right...

Yeah, the space between the spokes is pretty bare. I like the look of the wheel thought - what about just doing 18s instead of 19s?

i thought they looked good at first, but now that i see more and more pictures of them there's something that doesnt look right about them. too busy. they look allright on a flashy color, like the brighter blue, but still... the S8 reps look good. i'd go for those. havent seen any pictures of them on the b7, but they arent too flashy and unique.

IMO, it depends on what kinda look you'd like to have on your car.
if you're into classy looks, then R8 reps don't seem to be a good choice.
but if you're into sporty looks, then R8 reps seem great - however, the wheels themselves might not be good enough to make your car look better...i.e. lowering a bit and tinting would help look a lot better, IMO.
if you're planning to do BBK or something similar, then the big gaps between spokes wouldn't be a problem.

Re: 17" Special Edition to 19" r8 reps on a B7? Photoshop preview

Any thoughts on going with 18s instead of 19s? It would close the gap a little and give you a slightly better ride, plus save a little cash.

I suppose this just classifies as the on going 18s or 19s for A4 owners debate. I think with this wheel, though, the 18s would still look pretty big.
