    Need help with Code P0431

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hi All,

    I got the P0431 code again today. I have a A4 3.0 2002 113K.

It looks like I am out of luck with the warranty with the dealer. Based on other treads, it looks like I need to replace the O2 sensors front and rear.
Would anyone have a DIY on the O2 sensors for a 3.0 V6? I could not find a DIY for it. The only pictures I was able to find were from the a4mods, but it is kind of confusing plus it was on a 1.8T.

Any help with be greatly appreciated.

get a vag-com and log it. i'm guessing its not both sensors. but something else that might fault them.

here's a link on testing 02 sensors on your car...in the write up it says that the ECU will be indicating a failure in ether of the two sensors. Good luck
