Thanks for posting this question & the picture links. I have a black b6 s4 & had the exact same question. After looking at the pics I would only put black OZ UL's on my car.

If you go wth black I'd recommend at least getting tinted.
Otherwise as it sits I'd say silver.

In spite of my answer above I tend to agree with GPXluke (see BBS CH BE)...but for some reason I like UL's in black. Nevertheless, I understand on purely subjective matters the only opinion that counts is the owner's (e.g. the neon orange wheels I saw on a black S4)

I wish they did them in hyperblack, I think that would look great.
I also like the SL's but they are a bit spendy!!

The rims in the pics are 18"s I just stole them off of the Tire Rack web site and made them fit in PS.

They used to be available in Athrecite... but for some messed up reason stopped selling them here. I bouth my UL's in 18" Silver for silver B6.

I'm very happy with them so far. It doesn't get much worse than Chicago roads, but I feel like I'm safe at 18" with a 40 sidewall. No damage yet, then again I haven't really hit any potholes... I play the "pothole swerving game" when I drive.
