hello all.

i got my first real check engine light today. after leaving the exhaist show and playing with the new sound my check engine light came on. code is p1136. im guessing vac leak or maf. i dont have a presure tester so cant realy test for leaks.

i wana try to clean my maf in the morning. can i just use the electonics cleaning spray at autozone? or is their some thing special i sould get?

Check Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor
Check Fuel Pressure Regulator
Check Fuel Pump
Check Intake/Exhaust System for Leaks
Check Secondary Air Injection for Leaks
Check Vacuum Lines for Leaks

I replaced my MAF maybe 1 1/2 weeks ago, but I got it for cheap. Your gas mileage should also increase if you clean/replace it. Mine is not that bad, but looking at ~19 mpg for the past 2-3 months finally got to me.

well i cleaned my maf and started the car. it started normaly and i gave it a few revs from under the hood and noticed a loud exhaust sound so i traced it down. WOOHOOO my test pipe broke. the turbo flang to pipe weld cracked. its not broken all the way so hopfully it will hold together till i can get it to the shop in the morning. im just going to put my stock cat back in for now. im not in a good mood. im stuck at home till morning. i dont wana chance it bracking randomly. so AAAAHHH im going to let her sit till morning and only drive her to the shop.

lol thanx. ok so cat is back in and my new muffler doesnt sound even half as good as when the test pipe was in. but have at least she's runing right
