that doesn't look like an upgrade kit anyways, i think that's just for people with v6's or vr6's that have drive by wire throttle bodies and need to change to drive by cable to run standalone.

It is an upgrade. You will notice an increase in throttle response and on K04 equipped cars it certainly does free up a little HP.
This is for people who have an AEB and want to go from the stock ~55mm throttle plate to 65mm throttle plate.
The AEB's throttle body is SMALL compared to other VAG offerings.

If you guys have any more questions please feel free to PM me.I will be offering AEB manifolds with a bigger throttle body flange on them soon for those users who do not want to run an adapter plate but DO want to maintain cruise control.

    Re: 034 throttle body upgrade

just wondering if there is any hard evidence whether this upgrade will benefit...
    i'm running a 98 aeb, with gt3071 tapp software...

i would like to get better throttle response... you think i would also free up some more ponies as well...

Not sure what you mean by hard evidence but I can definately say from personal experience that increasing the throttle plate diameter definately improved my A4's throttle response.
I believe it will free up a few ponies as well but a dyno graph will definately prove it....and thats coming in a couple of months when things slow down over @ 034.

what i meant by evidence is like a dyno pull using the TB... sorry.
I'm looking into swapping my TB, but im using stock manifold, with stock head.
so i dont know want benefits i would see from swapping it out.

I am running gt30, with tapp SW.
I guess ill wait and see! lol

    thanks,
    JOHN
