haha,thanks.believe me,i hated this body style when it first came out,but it grew on me.i never expected to own this car,let alone on the mods i have on her now.but im very greatful and i just hope the mod list keeps on going ;) lol

yea i agree the new hatches are disgusting IMO.even the sales reps at the suby dealers agree,lol.im very lucky to have gotten my hand on an 07 b/c of the bigger wastegate,and longer gears in 3rd and 4th gears.its a lot diff. then the 06down and many ppl dont realize that till they buy it and do some research.lol,plus what i got her for was an amazing deal also :)

I also have grown a huge appreciation for the older subs after they made the new ones so fugly looking.. from what I hear, the new one's coming down the pike (already re-designed) that they're working on with Toyota are gonna be heavily discounted to re-coupe the lost profits on the one's they have out now..

the car has 18X8.5 Work Emotion Cr's and tint is deff in the near future.the roof spoiler also comes stock on the car.funny thing is,the new STI's arent doing so well.i went into the dealership the other day and they offered me 30k for mine w/ 20,000mi. on it if i went into a new STI.i was like no thanks.they have a waiting list for people who trade these in.

no offense to anyone i just cant stand the look of these..fast or not i wanna hit it with a bad..they all have 14 foot wings on them like they are going to do 600 mph..grrr ugly..just my opinion many do like they though and it is clean..nice color choice

thanks for the kind words guys.and believe me,ive been in a feud w/ myself about the wing also.but in the end it doesmake a diff.when ur doing 125plus you can feel a difference in the cars stability.the end becomes alot looser.plus that wing will be off when i go carbon fiber trunk anyways ;)

sticker price was $36,900. i put 5800 down and im paying 436 a month with 1.9% interest.and 900 a yr for insurance.

the reason for all the questions is because my audi is starting to fall to shit on me, and I'm spending more a month to fix it then I would be making payments for an 06 or 07 STI, and as I mentioned......I've always wanted an STI.

its quite alright.same reason i got rid of my audi.i was actually in the market for an S2000 but out of the blue i got this deal w/ the STI and my father gave me the thumbs up. i make about 1500 a month at 40hours a week and i also go to school full time.its all how you budget your money and how you mark up your schedule so you dont kill yourself.im 20yrs old and i pay for my car,insurance,and mods all myself.i also have a beater that i drive and i plan on buying a jet ski soon :) but i will say its not easy at first but you get used to it!!! so now i can just enjoy my car

nice! dude, you don;t know how glad I am to hear that. Everyone I ask says "DO NOT even try to lease a new car when you go to college. You're only asking for trouble."


I'm making 1600 a mo. working 40 hour weeks also, and I'm going to be starting college for radiology in a couple months, and my parents donj;t think I can afford the payments for an STI. I've been trying to set aside about $500 a mo. though just to see how much it will affect my daily living, and so far, its not bad at all. Maybe a little less driving here and there, and not splurging on the girlfriend so much, and I'll be set. I'm really considering this as an option now... thanks man.

btw- I hardly every see any subies with lip spoilers on them. It looks really good.

yea man,as long as your responsible about your spending and spend it on things you need rather just to spend money then your set.i haven't missed one payment yet and i have plenty of other bills that i also pay on time.and thank you for the compliment :) its only been a year and i've gotten pretty far on her.and the gf is still happy b/c i spend money on her hear and there ;) lol
