Disassembled the mirror
Neatly removed mirror backing in the shape of a slightly rounded rectangle
epoxied a digital boost gauge to the opening
Reassembled the mirror

how fast does the pressure refresh? does it take a second or two to catch up when you build up the boost?

It pretty much realtime. At worse, it could be about a couple tenths of a second behind.

Very nice. I'm in the middle of this right now with my mirror in pieces on the kitchen table.

Do you have the p/n for the trim ring? I broke all the tabs when taking it off so I need to get a new one.

Did you also have to trim the black plastic support piece that's on the inside of the mirror glass that holds the circuit board in place? It looks like that needs to be trimmed a bit.
