Good muffler/exhaust/welding shop in northern NJ?

bought a set of straight pipe piggies from a forum member on here a while back, just got to installing them and realized the left side pipe by the flex joint is touching the heat shield on the underbody of the car, causing a disgusting vibration that makes my car sound like a civic. Also, I need one of the O2 bungs welded shut and relocated because I can't fit my CELiminator with the sensor; it hits the underbody.

Is there a good muffler shop around here that would be able to put my car on a lift, see what has to be cut and welded, and do the job, no questions asked? I am willing to travel, not too far though..

That is what I thought too. I went there to have my exhaust worked on (had RS4 system that needed to have the tailpipes re-routed) and they completely hacked it up. They cut, expanded and re-welded and it looks like a kid in high school metal shop did the job. I read/heard great things too, thats why I went, and now I would never go back!

there was one in Fair Lawn not sure if still open. Not sure if this guy can weld stainless correctly.

im not sure if this guy does german cars but they did a sick job on an exhaust for my friends truck.. i think it was a little pricey but u can give them a call.. located in ramsey right off 17

I dont know what you have to have done, but I had my mufflers put on @ a porsche specialist by me (5 Min form Tappan Zee in NY) called Rennwerke. It was pricey, but they were mating Labree Mufflers & S bends to a GMG Catback from an RS4. He had to cut, expand, weld etc and it is really top quality work. He ground down all the welds and I gotta say, I am very happy. I go there now for everything. They only work on Porsches, but make a few exceptions if its a car that the owner fancies. try calling bodymotion. its down the shore somewhere. havent been there in a while but they do serious work, also specialize in porsches.

The guy who owns the Flemington Midas is a BMWCCA member and worked on a number of my old BMWs and I was very happy with his work. In particular, on my e39 540i6 He custom bent and installed all piping around a used mangaflow muffler i provided, custom including resonator delete. He hasn't worked on my Audi yet but as soon as the CPO warranty expires he's gonna drop a milltek in my s4.

You can find coupons on google for his shop and if you mentioned BMWCCA (say your wife has a BMW) you'll get another discount.
