    Taillight Overlay help!

    Does anyone around Pasadena area know how to do a good job on installing overlays on B7 taillights? Please let me know because i don't want to order another pair by doing it wrong. Let me know.

    just DIY. its not hard. just grab a heat gun, soapy water, and a sqeegy or a credit card wrapped in a towel. and stretch out the tint to fit the tail lights. its not perfect size at first so u ahve to stretch it using the heat gun. and its forgiving so dont worry about it

    Yeah, thank god my friend had a heat gun. Came out nice!

    thats good to hear. if u have bubbling within 1 - 3 or so days its normal u just need to let it sit and go away by itself. take some pics

    I just have really small water bubbles. They should go away by tomorrow considering how hot it'll be. Ill take some pics as soon as i make it perfect. It's weird because i thought the bigger piece would be harder to put on, but it was actually the easiest. The smaller ones weren't really cut out exactly like the taillight. I still need to heat gun some of the edges to have them fully stick on and look clean.

    ya. also the curve on our tailights make it alot harder to stick on and shape it
