    Not getting gas??

    This is my problem. When Im driving and I come to a complete stop and I press the gas the car will rev erratically but does not move and jerks. The way the car feels is like its not getting any gas, and right now my gas tank is full but its still doing that any ideas.

    check ur ignition, make sure everything is connected

    I had a Volvo S80 t6 that was doing that. They had a recall that was setting off the ETM. I had the same problem as you but in addition my blinker, headlights and radio weren't working either. Any lights going off? You have a code scanner?

    Well I dont get any codes. Like yesterday I was driving and I came to a red light, when I was about to pull of I would hit the gas but my car only jerked and my RPMs only went to about 800 and fell below and rose again to 800. Thats when I have to turn my car off and turn it back on. Its like driving a stick car with someone trying to learn and when they take off they did it wrong so the car begins to jerk up and down.

    ok so you've now let us know what transmission you have, that's a start. does it have any other troubles shifting in to other gears?

    My tranny is a TIP and when it acts like this like its in limp mode it stays in a very low gear until its kicks out of it or I restart the car.
