Caractere Rear, Who Has One?

I just browsed through 6 pages, threads going back 3 years. I didn't come across a single B6 with that rear. Do people just not have these? Or am I looking in all the wrong places..........[O_O]

ive been thinking the same thing cause i ordered the front a few weeks ago and i want to get the rear ive only seen one guy cadencex that had the rear he was in eurotuner

Now, forgive my lack of knowledge here. But I have never taken the rear bumper off before. Does the lower piece actually come off, and this replaces it? Or is this just a cover? Because the pics from Caractere on the silver B6 make it look like a replacement lower. But that white one looks like it's just a cover.

The stock rear bumper is one piece and does not separate.

So the next question. How do they manage to cover the rear, without it looking like a cover? That doesn't look like it is sitting on top at all.

The stock rear bumper is one piece and does not separate.

The s4 bumper is one piece but the a4 rear is 2 pieces....

There are 2 different A4 rear bumpers.

The US Spec is a ONE piece that has an appearance that it is a two piece but its not.

The EU Spec is a TWO piece that can be separated at the seams we see on our US spec bumpers.

IF Caractere made the rear for US spec then im expecting it to be a overlay like the Vortex rear bumper.

IF Caractere made the rear for EU spec only, then expect to try to source or find someone to source a EU rear bumper to put this rear on. Also keep in mind the EU rear is also "shorter" or stubbier and would require you to use a EU rebar, Modified rebar, or No rebar.

I found this out the hard way when I was putting on the rear on my Sportec bumper.

^^^ hmmm.... The bottom of my rear bumper was ripped off the first week I had my car and they said they just fixed the bottom portion.

The US is fused together at the seams like, lets say melting two plastic pieces together.

The Eu bumper you can actually dismantle it without hacking the bumper.

The US rear bumper is one piece, and this Caractere rear is just cover the lower part of the stock bumper. I had to cut the lower middle part of the stock bumper, so you could see through to the rebar (I painted it black also) from the mesh.

So whats the secret on install to make it not look like a cover? And that shit is pricey for a cover. I could get a whole S4 rear for that price.
