for quite some time now. I guess about 3 months. With that said, hello. It has been over 7 years since my last Audi. To keep a long story short, I am back at it.

Sooooo today the lurking is over. I made the purchase on an out of state vehicle today. I will be flying out to pick her up on the 11th. It is about 800 miles back to Colorado so it will be fun getting acquainted with her. I got her for a pretty good deal IMHO - about 8K below KBB and well over $20K off the original sticker price.

The sticker is still with the car and originally it was $57K and some change. It appears to have most every option you could have at the time. The original owner traded it on for a Porsche after just 16K miles. CarFax is clean. The wheels are 19s and underneath them are Brembo cross drilled/slotted rotors. Tires have 30 miles on them as the owner of the dealership had them put on and then drove them from the store to the dealership.

The dealership and the finance team they use have been incredible. Part of the reason I am flying out instead of having it transported is partly due to just wanting to meet these guys.

Let me know what you think. I am sure there are those that won't like it due to wheels, color, wheel gap or whatever can be thought of (lol)... but she makes me happy and I am glad to be back to Audi. Thanks to to all of you that have provided me with good insight over the past 3 months - even though you didn't even know you were doing it. I am sure more is to follow.

what spoiler is that on the trunk? I thought that we couldn't fit a spoiler on the B7 S4's because the turnk already has a raised spoiler. Almost forgot, nice car. That's my favorite color on the S4/RS4

Looks like the previous owner had very good taste, I can't think of an option the I would want that this car doesn't have... RS4 pedals, wheels, CF trim, RNS-E, nice! The suspension is definitely aftermarket, and from seeing the other options I bet it's a good one. Enjoy!

It looks lowered to me as well but they are not able to see anything aftermarket in regards to that. It looks a lot like this one with the black CHs (19s):

Thanks. Little things like the pedals keep popping out at me. Everything the previous owner did is within reason and something I would have done myself. IMO not overstated yet noticeable. I am excited about the RNS-E too.... never had that. Heck, I am excited about everything on the dang car. I can't wait to get out of Denver to go and get her!

Actually, it's not the DTM kit. Does not have the front or rear DTM bumpers.

He (she?) also added the rear carbon fiber valence and spoiler (which they do make to fit the S and S-lines with integrated rear spoiler), 19's RS-4 wheels (reps?), cross-drilled/slotted rotors, springs/coilovers, and RS-4 grill.

Channad means replace the chrome trim piece on the rear bumper just below the trunk lid with a carbon fiber one to tie it all together.

Oh yeah, forgot. Congrats! Looks like you got yourself an awesome ride that already has some great (and pricey mods) already done for you.

Again, both of these examples are S4's with the DTM kit and or 25th anniversary. Yours looks like a regular S4 with blades removed. Notice that your car has fog lights and DTM/25th Anniv. does not.

It does look like some pricey mods were done already. I think in the end all are what I would have done with the exception of removing the side blades - I agree they look better on. Interesting I did not notice them being gone. [O_O] Guess that happens when purchases are made out of state.

LOL. In the budget. Nexen tires blow. They will get me home though. I have a buddy that sells tires and will recoup some money by trading them in with only 1K miles on them. Not much, but some. That plus his hookup I should come out OK.

Not sure. I think it's a fairly simple install, though. They just bolt right on. If I were you, I'd just get the door blades, the CF trim piece mentioned above, and an exhaust and call it a day. You will have one bad-a** S4.

Yea... I did a quick search and found an old GB (over now) that had unpainted OEM ones for about $340. Install looks fairly straightforward using either 3M tape and or mounting brackets.

I will look into those three things once I get her home... along with better tires, and snow rims and tires (if I don't pick up the ones they have there).

I won't do it all at once. Heck shopping around and trying to find exactly what I want is half the fun. Once I buy it and have it on, well then half the fun is over.

Thanks for the info! Not sure I will be opting for this right away. I think there is so much to this car I just need to get a handle on what it has. Then when I dooo change things, it will really be a notice to me. With that said, the back end on your car looks very good. Something that will have to get done to mine.

Maybe in the interim to the $300 piece I can get it sprayed black just to tie it in???

Interesting you should say that. Almost every car I have owned I have de-badged it. I have mixed feelings on doing that with this car. I might take off all badging with the exception of the rings... and I might change those to black.

I dunno. I think I am just going to have to take a look at them in person and see how they strike me. I have been looking at a lot of pics (with and without) and I just can't make up my mind.

I re-read your x post in regards to this piece. You mentioned getting the old trim off being a PITA. Were you able to get it off w/o damaging it? If so, how did you do it?

The reason I am asking is because I can see painting it black until I opt for the CF piece. I am just afraid I might damage the trim during removal.
