You guys got to see these up close – they are awesome. And welds are fantastic. These are Ultra-Shield and IMHO the rib guard and shoulder wrap is much better on these than on Kirkey. However, Full Containment from Kirkey is outstanding and I might upgrade to that seat at some point.

In order for Marc or anyone else to give me valuable advice I fist must finish the car and then that person must analyze everything that was done. I could be wrong, but from what I’ve seen, this car goes farther than Marc’s - e.g. most wiring, fuel components, emissions is/will be gone as well as windows and door structure.

The car is already fast and is getting faster. But it’s a track, not a strip car. So tranny, ECU, suspension, etc., been built for that purpose. I really have no desire to run ¼. I might take it to the strip next year just to satisfy general curiosity, but since I do not know what I am doing – my times will likely suck. BTW, I’ve been to a strip only once in my life – oddly in this car. It was in 2003/2004 when the car was Stage 1 and had a dead O2 sensor. If I remember correctly, it did 13.8 @ 101.

Christ that seat looks uncomfortable. I just pulled out my Sparco Evo2 seat because it just became to much. But if your going for a straight road course setup you will love how locked in your going to be in that seat. Nothing worse than going into an APEX and needing to use the steering wheel as a pull up bar to keep you in place. I would love to see pics when you get it in and all gutted.

Haha you should talk to Jet Jockey. That guy has completely stripped everything from his car.
