Gremlins in my A/C...

it works fine... but

every so often, and it seems to be random, the a/c will shut off, then come back on to the last setting it was left at and continue to run like nothing happened... like i would expect it to do if i turned the ign. off and on again... the first couple times it happened i was questioning myself, and not the car. (Did that just happen? nah...)

any ideas?
