My headlights don't have "chrome" in them

Another dumb question from me, but a search for "headlight grey/gray" yielded no suitable returns in this forum.

After pondering joey-modding my headlights and going to a recent Audi cruise/meet, I noticed most headlights have a chrome trim inside, but mine has a matte grey trim inside. I'm wondering if I actually have aftermarket headlights or older headlights?

    I have this:

later B6's particularly the 2005 models had the grey housings that matched the A4 versus the earlier B6 chrome housings.

You have regular DOT spec Bi-Xenon housings, just like every B6 S4. They're not aftermarket.

FAIL. Mine don't fog because my hands aren't useless, if I have a problem, I use them to fix it. And no, there isn't more light output from single xenons, that argument was someone's uninformed opinion, combined with the classic AZ bandwagoners. Some of us have a use for superior high beams.

never said the light output was better. Just didn't like the fogging. Since you mentioned it, I don't use my high beams either so another reason I have sinlge xenon ecodes

EDIT: I have also had both and I like the look of my singles better too
