ok but what is "hyper-black" supposed to be? I understand this is a pointless inquiry, but I'm just curious as to why the description contains the word "black" when they don't look that black to me. Is it supposed to be like a darkened or colored chrome or something?

Its a multiple layered finish. The best way to describe it is basically like a silver with a black tint over it. Its a really nice finish from the normal old hyper silver. Its not a completely black finish like our matte black but has a nice 2 toned look to it.

Unforunately will not fit over b5s4 brakes. Those things are humongous!

Hm... I dont recall our V715's ever clearing B5s4 brakes. Those brakes are huge! Our V714's will fit though. We never tried running a large spacer with the V715's yet, but then again, large spacer = rubbing issues.

That really sucks to hear I was hoping that since my current wheels have a 35mm offset that a 2-3mm spacer on the V715 (38mm offset) would then enable B5S4 brakes to clear....

Would that work? Or am I thinking about it the wrong way?

Offset does not always mean wheels will fit. Spoke design comes into play. As for our V715, the design on the spokes will still have problems clearing the caliper since it has a lot of curvature on it.

V715's are not BBK friendly... they definitely do not clear B5S4's like i said.

I have SETTLED on another set of 19" wheels but I will need to run 8mm spacers up front. I really do not want to run spacer, but it is evident that if I dont my wheels choices are VERY limited...so if I can run a size spacer similiar to 8mm on the V715 then I will be very happy

I am honestly not sure what size to. It must be more then a 6mm spacer though. Our VB2's & V715's have similar brake caliper clearance. We test fitted a our VB2's on a C5 S6 with a 6mm spacer and it barely fit.
