Audi shot in HDR

Just getting my feet wet with this new type of photography i came accross. I think there is huge potential with the right tools.......this was done with a Canon DSLR with a 1:1.8 lens, my A4 and my Triumph S3:



Im trying to get some better lenses, which will make things way more interesting....but this turned out pretty good i think.

HDR is very simple. All you need is a camera (not necessarily an SLR) able to shoot 3 different exposures of each frame. You then input the images into an HDR software. More info: http://www.hdrsoft.com/

Looks awesome man, but I think its a little over exposed by the exhaust which kinda ruins the otherwise perfect picture.. Don't take this as hate or anything, just wanted to bring it up so you can improve upon it on future pictures, which I would love in a higher res for a desktop background

nice but there is a bit too much noise/grain in the lower right corner, and i think the colours could be adjusted. (Photoshop>adjustments>colourbalance) and play with the levels so the black of the car comes through better (adjustments)>levels)

god why do people keep over tone mapping thier hdr's???? it looks like a cheap photoshop with the dodge burn halo effect.

The pic itself cuts off too much in composition as well, really I'm not a fan whatsoever

Like i said, this was my first shot. The framing on the composition was going to be a bit better, but the my neighbour decided to arrive to his parking spots 10 seconds before i set up my tripod down, so had to change the angle, hence why so much of it is cropped out.

As for the noise, i actually fixed a lot of it...but it was 1am by the time i was done with the bumper alone, so decided to let it be. If anyone can host the file for me, i can make the different sizes you guys needs for desktops. Thanks for the feedback!

PS: tivs31 - how bout some words of encouragement for a first timer? like "good job man....here's some tips" or "i wouldnt have done that myself...but it looks good".
