Anyone Get There Idle Clean with Siemens 630's?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Got rid of my Genesis 550's for some extra fuel and got a new set of Siemens 630's. Of course it had to fuck up my A/F. Got my load/boost A/F back but my idle still SUCKS at around 10:1. Anyone get the idle A/F cleaned up and if so what lemmi settings are you running?

    Thanks, Shawn

Re: Anyone Get There Idle Clean with Siemens 630's?

I'm glad you are taking the lead on this one!

The easiest way I know to fix your issue is to adjust the scaling factor in the EEPROM but then you would need someone that know how to hack into the ME7 tables.

If you can find such a person I'll ask my guy where the table you need to adjust is located.

i'll let you know how the unitronic file handles it tomorrow. I'm pretty excited/apprehensive about the whole thing - should be interesting to say the least... AFAIK i've got the first BT unitronics B6.. the first one on audizine atleast. (i'm sure there's another one somewhere)

I was supposed to run a Uni BT file too but they never could give us a completion date for a 3076 file for an Audi.

    AFAIK it still doesn't exist.

last that i heard all their files are done, because we were already talking about me stepping up to a 3071 or 3076 next summer. you might wanna give mike a call and see if they finished or not... they've got SICK files for VW 1.8T's... idk see why they wouldnt have, if not almost have a file for us b6 guys (i realize there are a few... hurdles...)

Re: Anyone Get There Idle Clean with Siemens 630's?

I'll try giving them a call again and I hope the reply is different this time around.

I spoke to them in the past about it and they said a VW file might work on an Audi but they weren't sure. Well I wasn't going to be the one to prove that to be true or not.

I guess the people to ask would be those running the REVO GT30 file since it is tuned for 630's.

I've been running the 630 file from unitronics for about 3 months now. No idle problems.

I bet 32bit hex code is fun to tune. I would like to see stock vs. BT software side by side in 32 bit hex to see what adjustments were made and where. The Bosch ME7 manual needs to be more detailed. It's an overview and doesn't go into detail about coding the hex system. Guess they don't want you to do it lol. Find KWP2000 info through a google search...

Shawn, what Lemmi setting did you end up with. I found the ones I had and tried them, but it only brought the Lambda down by .5 and my correction factor @ idle is like negative 22-25%. I know you're using a WB but can you VAG it and see? TIA!!

Talked to Greg for about an hr trying to get it straight last night. I have everything at 100%, lamda correction at -85. My idle is still rich as hell (10.5-10.8) but my boost A/F is perfect and the car actually feels better than before with the 550's. I think Im getting closer to the setups sweet spot!
