I wrap bacon in bacon, don't know about you. Bacon makes everything better. And the reason for wrapping filet mignon in bacon is because the fat exudes more flavor into the steak. Fat is what gives meat flavor.

Glenfidditch 21 single malt scotch for me, straight up on the rocks, with a Rocky Patel Edge cigar...perfection!

If the steak is aged (at least 30 days) and cooked correctly (rare) then you don't need anything to enhance its flavor. However the Glenfidditch and RPE are right on.

yeah i bought the MIGNON like that already. you know i got 4 of them for $8.99 on the aif force base. usually felet mignon is $10 a pound. and yes your right. if its done right and cooked right then all you need is a little salt n peppa! but like slappy said. who really knows how to age meat. and who wants to wait 30 days... i didnt even wanna wait for the damn thing to defrost haha. and red wine goes perfect with this meal! but i didnt have any womp womp. bacon wraped asparagus ftw. gas grill ftl
