    Genesis 380cc

I just got a set from another AZ member - Voypa.

He stated they were Genesis 380cc w/2k on them.

When they arrived, they were plugged into Ford Racing adapters.

They are probably interchangeable with other model cars (Mustangs), but they were entirely blue. They didn't look like anything from USRT or ECODE (black). Most pictures on the web state that the product might not look exactly the same.

For those of you who have the Genesis 380cc's, can you please post a picture or tell me what color you have.

I know there is a debate on this too... do I need to upgrade the IC w/just a GIAC Stage 1+ flash?

    Thanks.

Check out USRTs website. They the genesis injectors. I have genesis 430s and they do use a small plug harness adapter for each injector....maybe the 380s do as well. Someone else will have to chime in here

I'm not so worried about the adapters because they come off... I just haven't seen blue Genesis ones. I did find one set of 440cc's that were all blue, but they were Deka/Siemens...

my genesis 380 injectors were exactly like the ones in the link above. black with a blue o-ring on 1 end.

you don't 'need' to upgrade the IC. but heatsoak will happen with 1+. if you do back to back full boost runs, you'll notice a loss in power as the oem IC can't cool down fast enough.

Even a chipped car will see a slight gain in power when using a FMIC kit since it will lower the IAT's a bit and will recover faster since there is more surface area. The stock SMIC is really designed for stock boost levels, once you increase the boost beyond stock the IAT's really shot up quick.

Anybody have blue Genesis 380 injectors? Should I install these - any way of telling (no visible part numbers or id on them).

Have you talked to Scott at USRT? He is the guy you really want to talk with about the injectors you have.

    Re: Genesis 380cc

The genesis injectors I had were black as well.

I definitely recommend a IC. I just installed my Apikol SMIC yesterday and what a difference over stock. From driving around a bit in warm/hot weather, the car would bog down after a while and just felt like it didn't want to move. Even after a few pulls on the highway, it was done and says "no more". Yesterday it was mid 70s, humid and warm, 4 people in the car and AC. Multiple pulls, the car performed just like the first pull. No "loss" in power, no acceleration lag from the heatsoak. The car just goes when you ask it to.

I checked what he posted - he was selling either Genesis 430cc (which coincidentally the ones you sold me look exactly like) or Bosch 440cc.

He never had any 380cc for sale. Nonetheless, these will not work with my big injector file!

    Re: Genesis 380cc

I bought used ones last week from here. They were from USRT and look exactly like the Genesis 380 picture on their site.

12/23/09 - My car has been phenomenal to me. Runs strong. Don't think I'm ever going to sell it. Rather throw $7k into it for a refresh than buy a new A4 that has no dipstick.
    12/5/10 - 100k miles & counting!
    9/22/13 - 146k+ & running strong w/a new TB, water pump, etc.
