Where to buy OEM sport coil springs ?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
My 2 rear coils are broken and I have to change them, my mechanics quoted 136$+tx per spring

In my opinion, this is ridiculous, so I started looking on the net to find new springs and can't find anything.

Do you know a website that sells springs .. ??

    thx

Have you looked on car-part, or called any local salvage yards? Springs are (virtually) bomb-proof, except in your case apparently! But yeah try a yard, or post in the wanted section of the classifieds, I'm sure someone has a pair lying around. Good luck!

Replied to your WTB post. If FWD has the same part number (which it might not because of the extra weight of the diff), I have some just sitting in my garage. Can anyone confirm?

Re: Where to buy OEM sport coil springs ?

I don't wanna upgrade because I really want to keep my car comfortable. Also, I read its really not good to put aftermarquet springs on OEM shocks. I dont wanna change the whole thing in a couple of months.

And the reason why it broke is because of rust, yeah ... I live in canada..

So anybody who has springs that fit on a B5 1.8T 1999.5 Quattro Sport package
please let me know. Reasonable offers are accepted, don't forget I have to pay for shipping as well ;)

Been running H&R race springs for near on 2 years on OEM Sport shock with no issues and have only swapped them out as I have RS4 shocks now.
