Dragstrip results WOOOO 11's

Car is a silver 01.5 with full apr stage 3 kit with no tweaks. Also has apr catted dps and catback. previous best was 12.29 @ 113.8 with 1.711 sixty foot on 100 octane.

no spare tire and rear muffler removed(still big resonator)

first run-pump gas, no cool down. basically got there and had to race lol. kinda happy i trapped 111 though

BEST RUN-finally got to use 104 octane

117.96 mph

BEST TRAP
1.88 sixty foot
12.10 quarter
118.82 mph

Overall, i am EXTREMELY happy the way my car ran. i also cant believe that i almost trapped 119 mph on that one run. feeeedddbaaackkkkk

Mighty fine off the shelf stage 3 you got there. With a little tweaking you should find yourself in the 120mph range.

Thanks guys. im pretty happy with how it ran. i know theres more left in it base on the almost 119 trap i had on that one run. but its time for some tweaking and open downpipes


oh it was lebanon valley dragway in west lebanon new york. 300 foot elevation, 29.59 bar, 55 degrees, and 54% humidity.

Congrats man. Not many people get into the 11s with sub 120mph traps with these cars. Good driving boss.

I noticed this as well. Are people afraid to push these cars hard down the track? I havent seen my 11 yet but am also not tuned yet. I went 12.1 at 112 full weight minus spare tire and on falken azenis street tires. 1.68 60' all on pump gas. Once the tune is worked on there is no way i wont be atleast 11.70 with the extra 6-7 mph im hoping to pickup. Whats the fastest pump gas numbers out right now on a k04 based turbo?

Pump gas or meth/water injection and pump gas, which is basically like a race gas tune?

As of right now i am on straight pump gas from shell. No meth/water injction... yet. But a 112 mph trap is low evn for pump gas with ssp tuning the car. He has jsut not gotten to look at the car again after the FMIC problms i had messing up the fuel. Now th fuling is straightening out so we can finally tune for power. One of gregs oem k04 cars has done MUCH high traps than i have on pump gas as well. If my car can achieve a trap close to that car even with my slightly bigger turbos i can se my car going into around 11.70-11.80 range on straight pump gas. Whether this will actually happn or not is in te air because i may just put te meth/water injection in soon and get tuned on that. We will see how i decide to do things.
