2000 S4 options:

2001 S4 Options:
Only change is the Sport Package is now the "Enhanced Sport Package" which adds aluminium mirror housings.
2001 cars have ESP (Electronic Stabilization Program) 2001 also comes as Avant as well.
2002 S4 Options:
The same as 2001. The S4 badge changed half way through 2001 (aka 2001.5). There are some rumors that the oil lines to the turbos were revised after 2001 to prevent turbo failure. This may be true but, it still doesn't prevent turbo failure as many 2002 owners have needed to replace them.
To answer your question about the factory NAV system. It is a very basic system that is disc based and only gives directions in the form of audio and graphics in the center of the instrument cluster. Very minimal and needs updated discs to know about new roads and addresses.
