Looking for an Audi Revo st 1 Advise Y'all

Hi,

I am planning to get a Revo Stage 1 flush on a 2002 Audi A4 3.0 V6.
Today, I called our local tunning shop and was told that because I don't have a turbo, I won't be able to get the 50 ponies that other folks get. I will get some momentum in acceleration and it will clear the speed limit and the RPM. However, they are checking to see what other option they may have.

So, here is my dilemma!!!

Has anyone done this on a 3.0 V6 engine and is it worth the money to have that done?

its *advice* btw...and, no, you do not have a turbo, thus you cannot chip/flash it.

No, it is "advise" in this context. He's asking someone to advise him, which is the act of giving advice. It's a verb versus a noun.

Regardless, a flash might help somewhat, but on an NA car it won't be near what you'd get on an FI car.

im suprised no one flamed the **** out of you... i think GIAC is the only one who has a flash for 3.0's, it addes like 5hp and removes the speed governor, not worth $500

1.8t a 1+ FLASH, (not flush) will add up to 65 hp by increasing fuel and boost among other things......with a 3.0 you are stuck!

Thank you for the info folks. I guess I am stuck with this idea.

In regards to the English grammar clarification, I am glad, I have somewhat mastered my writing skills for the past 8 years living in the USA, plus I am married to a British chick.

you could read it like that...i suppose..i took it as "im looking for advice, ya'll"...anyway...who cares...i hate grammar.

well to continue with the grammar...it would be a "flash" that you're looking to get...not a toilet "flush".

do a search, you'll find plenty of info on software flashes for a 3.0. also, many people have said it just isn't worth the money. at least several hundred dollars for a little bit more throttle response. not really great in my opinion...you're better off getting an exhaust for a little bit more money.
