will et45 8.5x19 BBS LM reps fit the B7?!

Sorry to spam the forum with wheel issues!

Does anybody have ET45 8.5x19 BBS LM Replica wheels?

Looking on Tirerack.com, LMs are listed for the S4 but not for the A4, and the offset stated is ET32...

So, anybody know if ET45 will fit? Will spacers be required? If so, how many mm would be needed?

no. the offset is way to high. it is made for cars like the a3 and mkv's

Those will fit, they just won't look great. You are going to want spacers. My factory USP wheels are et 43

yeah but you have to remember how much bigger our brakes our than the b6. he will need a huge spacer to clear them and they will sit so far inside th fender that it would look like crap if they did fit anyway.

These are et45 that came off of my friend's MKV GTI. A 17.5mm spacer is the smallest spacer you can run with these wheels in the front to clear the calipers...if you wanna know the rest of my setup, just read my sig.

I was wondering the same thing. Seems like you could use 10mm spacers on all 4 and you'll be set.

I believe they are BB5's that have been discontinued...

I got them from a friend who bought them from Raderwerks when they were selling them. They are now discontinued due to copyright infringements.

Right I've got my mouse hovering over the Buy It Now on eBay for a set & I've also added spacers, bolts & shipping (which is gonna be pricey) on ECS...

which bolts will I need? I'm assuming conical rather than ball seat?

I mean if so, how can my car be alright with ET45 and NO spacers...
Some people do not want to ruin the geometry of the car by putting spacers, is it diffcult for you to understand this...? If not, just dont force everyone to put spacers...

ET45 is fine my friend and you will have NO clearance problems with OEM calipers...
Unless I do to and i dont know it...

how much do they weigh?

It seems more to do with the shape of the spokes and general design of the wheel. A dished wheel will have the spokes set further back, and convex/concave/flat spoke designs vary in the clearance for the brakes. I currently have a set of 19s which won't fit due to the large OEM front calipers, despite slotting right onto a B6 with no issues.

The LMs are dished with flat spokes, so it seems spacers are required just so the wheels can turn without fouling on the calipers.

So... anyone know whether I'll need conical or ball seat bolts?
