blacked out tails look good on silver by the way... "blacked out", not half ass blacked out lol

or you can try to style it a bit more with the tape, and tape out the opening to be a little more narrow... thats what i have now, i think looks a bit better..



keep the eye lids till you can afford a boser hood.. u obviously just started modding ur car :) spend more time here, will give u many ideas, and good luck!

sorry...it's just my opinion that:

1. Adding cheap mods to a mostly stock car looks like trash.
2. Eyelids = Fail
3. Black-out tails are trash. (Lightly tinted or smoked = Euro )

Swap the eyelids for some ecodes. Although I don't like it, I have to admit that the matte finish on the tails goes well with the matte finish of the unpainted lowers. But IMO stock or smoked like mentioned above tails look the best.

I have seen both cheap mods on every single Honda Accord out here in Sacramento. I know you may want to rush out and upgrade the hell out of the car, but at least do it the right way. It is an Audi - not a Honda.

Wow, I think most of these comments are overreactions. He's only done 2 things to his car, eyelids and blacked out taillights. He hasn't destroyed his car, there are many, many AZ members with blacked out tails, so I don't see the fuss. They're not done well, but having the blacked out is not the problem. As far as the eyelids, they're an added touch, that are really appreciate until the whole car is finished. Ask SKDMRK

Well, good first try -the only thing I would do is to polish up the tinted area. You can use something like mothers aluminum polish or some other mile polish to make the finish look shinny. If you did that it won't look so home brewed.

The eyebrows look ok, to each his own... Welcome to the forum!

We all do. I agree his car is off to a bad start, but it's not like he got some fugly custom paint job on the car. It can still be easily turned around. I think people were a little harsh with the criticism, but maybe it will do some good and he'll end up with a nicely modded / clean looking car in the end. I know I sure as hell got bashed for some mod ideas when I first joined the MB forums, but I think in the end it did some good.
