I want one, I saw one today (a black edition) and it had after market exhaust im pretty sure but the thing was a monster! So loud it was ridiculous and after watching videos..good lord what a monster and all that car for only about 130K? thats a very good price considering it keeps up with gallardos and chipped it could keep up with most other super cars.What are your thoughts on it? I haven't read much only watched a couple vids so there could be things on this car that suck that I don't know about.

I want rims like that(not that color) I think those rims look so good. Anyone know if they make replicas I haven't been able to find them, The closest are the titanium rims from Audi which I absolutely love. and the interior looks like ass imo.. but the rest of the car is amazing.

I can't stand the oval headlights/climate control vents/steering wheel. Other than that it's decent but I doubt you'll find me behind the wheel of a Benz anytime soon.

well If I believe this, then your friends dad owns the only registered DTM in the united states. and no this one is faster than the DTM although I'd have to argue to say that the DTM is one of my top 3 favorite cars ever and I would take one in a heartbeat over the Black series. I can afford it im just hazy about buying one, and then three years later having it be worth 70K..I'd rather just hold on to my money, unless of course a CLK DTM pop'd up but thats not gonna happen..and if it did the guy would probably want way too much.

Personally I love the yellow time attack stripe and the yellow calipers, and to solve those tail lights I'd just black em out like that white one.

there were 500 made, and he might have quoted the residual lose for a normal clk 63 not the black series.

and yeah It would gain value if I didn't put any miles on it, but by purchasing this car I would probably drive it daily for a month easily then trade off between my other cars. So it would see some good millage by the end of the year for sure.

pick up some SLK 55 rims they look exactly the same there both 16-spoke its just that the CLK has 19's and these are 18's, here:

I saw a set of 4 on ebay go for 850$ I think, I like them a lot although I dont think they would look good on my avant.

The value on these things has dropped significantly since they first came out. Regardless, I love the car and had an opportunity to drive one recently. The "auto" trans is not that bad especially if you shift it with the paddles. I also love the thought put into the car. Its not until you see the car on a lift and can walk undeneath it that you see how much thought MB put into the car.

Somethings wrong, but then again s-classes,A8's,and 7er's haves some of the worst depreciation but they are still great cars.

You got me on this one. There are a few theories out there, but to me I think it is just a classic case of supply and demand. I mean look at the Carrera GT. That thing tanked in value and finally 3-4 years after its release, prices are slowly starting to rise.

The steering wheel looks like it came out of a 90's Bonneville SSEI. And There may be a few CLK DTM's in the USA, but not registered. I saw one at the Festival of Speed in St. Pete a few years ago.

There is more than one clk dtm in the US that is registered, I have seen it up close.

at least you'd be driving it! it bums me out when i see these awesome cars just sitting around instead of being driven...but alas, everyone has their own perogative.

The only reason i bring this up is because i keep thinking about the MKIV R32; people were able to see it for close to MSRP used with 30k miles even after a couple years after their release....maybe it's all about being in a niche market...

... And the "55" and "65" insignias are for engine sizes... not really like those of say, BMW where they go from a 745i to a 750i... the "55" was for the V8 supercharged engine, and the "65" was for the V12 twin turbo'd engine.

Why not put the money into a 997 Turbo?

It's reliable, economical and only people who know will gawk... everyone else will mind their own business.

Plus you can get it worked at nearly anywhere compared to the Benz.

Im 6'8'' a 997 is very snug on the inside. I can fit it and drive it with out a problem but its not a very good 60 mile-a-day commuter. Plus I got a deal on the brabus, trust me I would never buy one new, the deal was too good to pass up and I thought what the hell, within 2 months after I bought it I sold it, and got 5.5k more then what I bought it for.
