    i'm really not sure if there is a difference. i mean i like the sound of hyperblack better then onyx black haha. the hyperblack looks alittle bit more straight black with just alittle gloss. the onyx is a whole lot of gloss with vmr.

    I didnt know about hyper black from pure motorsports im going to look into that. I sold my rims to get an APR exhaust and test pipe just waiting for my VMR's to come in they are on back order until mid to end of June.

    Ivory, to each their own but I think ti pkg cars look better with the gunmetal RS4s. I've got a titanium too and that's what I'm getting.

    I had gunmetal on order but changed it to onyx black because i have blacked out tails and headlights thought the black would go better with that theme. oh and i looked into the pure motorsports rims they get there rims from VMR and hyperblack is their name for onyx black, same rim.

    i just called and changed my order back to gunmetal kind of turned off by the bling/shine of the onyx. maybe someday down the road i will powedercoat them matte black

    big mistake homie, the gunmetal ones are actually darker then the onyx black, nevermind the pics. I have the onyx and have seen the gunmetal in person. check my postings for pics of them on my car.

    I know my old rims are a lot better but I am selling them and able to get VMR RS4 reps and I am able to get an APR Exhaust and testpipe i think that is well worth it

    haha everytime i look at this i crack up, but i appreciate it the effort and I am super glad i changed my order to gunmetal because i saw a pic of a white b7 with gunmetal and they look great

    you're 100% correct because when I don't wash my onyx and they get covered in brake dust then the look as dark as the gunmetal
