Finally i can post! Heh, any way. How certain are you the broken weld can be fixed? Will this fit on a non-USP 02 A4 quattro 1.8t?

i emailed you. sorry, i was away from my im's.. i'm sure they can be fixed. or a new resonator welded on. or get rid of the resonator all together.. and get it a lil bit louder.. lol.

magnaflow is off.

looks like the welds on the resonator were not done very well by the company. they're starting to crack at the weld.. some new weld around it might fix it up.. or a new resonator welded in place.. or for a louder system. i straight pipe instead of resonators... ha

Magnaflow claims a lifetime warranty on their exhausts. You should have them fix those cracks. I was thinking about buying that exhaust new but after seeing that makes me think twice. You really ought to send this thread to Magnaflow's PR department and see how they can help you and save some face for their company. If they do help you or not let us know.

I've had many exhaust systems throughout the years and never had any issues with cracks (none whatsoever) on the welds from numerous tuners.

i bought the exhaust used. from a local audi guy. it had about 5k miles when i bought it.

not long after i got it from him, i started noticing something wasn't right. i DROVE down to magnaflow, here in Rancho Santa Margarita.. (30 min. from my work), and they wouldn't do anything for me. they said i had to go thru the dealer where i purchased the exhaust from.

i was like so much for lifetime warranty. a basically new exhaust, already having issues.. it's complete BS, but what can i do.... it did still sound good tho, but i wanted an upgrade with a downpipe and a big louder.. :)

How much SHIPPED (29464) for the magnaflow exhaust.

Could you cut the price a bit, (if you a willing) to cut the magnaflow mufflers off and just ship the rest of the piping? (I have 14851's at home).

So in other words how much shipped just for the PIPING (from the magnaflow exhaust)?

since it came off a triptronic, i wasn't sure if it would fit or not. i'm sure everything else is fine tho

got a part number on the thermal? i believe there is a fitment difference between manual and tip exhausts... at least on the thermal site, they have separate product numbers for both a tip and manual.

also any idea on shipping out to jersey (07631)?

Hey Oildrpr, if none of these other interested guys work out, consider selling the tubing to "absolutegtr" and I will buy the mufflers and tips. I would love the entire system, but it wouldn't fit my car. You would have to come up with a price that would make it work for you, but anything for the right price, right? I am local and could pickup my portion, if the price was right. I will give them a good home Think it over.

for one... which exhaust are you talking about? there is 2 listed.. secondly. it's an exhaust, it doesn't need to be CARB legal.. you can do what you want post-catalytic convertor..

they both bolt on. yes... i had the magnaflow welded for a better fit on my USP bumper. but it's not needed. and/or i can sell it just how it is with it still connected to the stock downpipe..... then it's simple to bolt on..

i got the exhaust used, so i dont have a part number.. i went and looked at it, and there's nothing on it that says anything..

it came off a tip tho.. i thought the only difference was the downpipe part.. this doesn't have a downpipe tho.. it's from the end of the downpipe- back.. so if the downpipes for the manual and the tip end in the same spot, then your golden.. but i can't say for certain.. sorry, i'm still an audi noob...

i still don't understand why you would want it cut... just for the piping? you could always have some custom piping done at that point...

i mean it's designed to fit as a system, bolt-on.... but if it helps make 2 people happy, then something may be worked out... :)

The reason I want it, is because none of the shops near me can mandrel bend. I have my own Magnaflow mufflers (14851's) at my house, and if I can get the piping from cscsocal for a decent (cheap, lol) price, then i would definetly be interested!

there is a local buyer that says he wants to pick up the magnaflow.. maybe tonight.. just to let you guys know..

the thermal has gotten a ton of interest, the majority of the interest requires shipping.. which i'm tryin to avoid.. but if it comes down to somebody stepping up and definitly wanting it, i can work something out..

and for the people that ask,..... I dont know the shipping cost... i'm not UPS... my zip is 92627, and i would approximate the exhaust weigh-ing in at 60 pounds... and probably would cost between $50-$75 to ship.. that's just a guess..

keep you guys posted about the magnaflow..
