What is a 1987 5000 CS Quattro worth?

Its a black Audi 5000 Quattro 10VT. 5 speed manual. Car has under 100k miles on the odometer.

Someone local wants to buy it for parts.

It had recently around $1000 invested in parts like starter and other stuff.

Based on experience, dont bother. The thing had more problems that any other cars I've owned put together. The thing just fell apart (leaky fuel tank, various engine problems, abs issues, interior electronics stopped working, etc. etc.). Save your self a massive headache and pass.

That being said, when it worked it was nice. Bought one in 1992 or so for about $5800. Nice car, and relatively powerful.
