Fogs & headlight HELP

i got 8000k HIDs for the Fogs that looks beautiful and brand new after market Halos as headlights which are xenon. after getting them installed...right on the dash its telling me that my fogs are out which there not and its either my headlight dimmer or something to do with the headlight is not working. the picture is a light beam with an exclaimation point in it, but my headlights work fine. why are my lights working and my car telling me something else?

You bought a kit on Ebay and the Audi doesn't like it.

Seriously though. It's telling you the fog lights are out because they draw less power than the standard Halogen fogs. There have been several other threads about bulb out errors like this. Search for them. The other message is regarding the auto-level of your headlights.

Did you try to turn your lights on when they weren't plugged in?

yes i did..wat i want is to take off the errors off the dash

Your car is throwing warning lights because it feels insulted by 8000K ricer HIDs…

I believe you have to use the VAG-COM to reset the error message. Do a search of the forums, this problem has been discussed before.
