    Dyno Day?

I have a small group of friends who want to dyno their cars and curious if anyone is interested in a dyno day some where. Torque Freaks is closed now so I'm going to drop RRev and e-mail and try to get some pricing figured out. I figure it'd be a decent price break and everyone can see what numbers they're pushing.

    Re: Dyno Day?

I would be down for another PDXtuning dyno day, just got rid of my Audi and would like to get my '05 LS2 GTO on the dyno.

    Re: Dyno Day?

I setup the last PDX dyno day. If there is enough interest I'll set something up again. PDX will charge $60 for three pulls. They have an AWD mustang.

Last time we had 15 people dyno in about 3 hours.

Let's test the waters for June 21 or 28 (SAT)? From 11-2.

If I can get 15 people we can do it for $50. If we get 20 people I'll get them to do it for $45.

    LMK,

Someone should post up on vortex, nwquattor and AW.

    Re: Dyno Day?

I e-mailed RRev. They said $50.00 per car with a group of 8 or more.

PDXTuning would be fine for me too. Doesn't matter to me.
Hopefully will have my throttle cut fixed this weekend or next. So the 17th or 24th would be awesome.

    I'm down for the 21st, and I won't just be watching. :-)

JoeM: why just watching? They can dyno Tip cars.

Already dyno'd there last time, and don't have any new mods.

Plus, doing a tip with coil packs is kinda of a pain to hook up on the dyno since they have to use an inductive ignition pick up for RPM signal. So you have to open up your wiring loom for the packs to get in there.

    Re: Dyno Day?

I e-mailed PDX Tuning. Asked them about the 21st.
RRev also is ok with the 21st. $50.00 for 2 pulls with 8 people or more with them. Either one is fine with me.

    Re: Dyno Day?

I prefer PDX tuning just because I've dyno'd there before which is important for comparisons and the guys are cool to work with. Never been to or heard of RRev is thier dyno a Mustang? Where are they located?

RRev isn't open on the 21st so I figure PDX Tuning. Their dyno is a mustang though, and I have no idea where they are located.

I'll drop PDX Tuning an e-mail right now.

    Re: Dyno Day?

I'll be there at 10. The shop is going to close earlier so we need to have people there and ready. Once no one else is there they are going to close up as they are usually not open on Sat. It was a favor. So hopefully we get some people there.

    Re: Dyno Day?

not really. You can try EDR (motorcycle shop) in downtown or garage motorsports in vancouver. LAst, but not least PDX sells torco, which works almost as well as race gas. $15 a can to make 5 gallons 100 oct or something.

    Regards

    Thank you.
I'll give that a shot tomorrow and see what I can do.

I should be there by 10. Maybe a little later depending how late I sleep in.

I'll be there around 10:30. Waiting for my friend to get here with his Evo.

I'll have to keep you guys in mind next time. Bought a thing of Torco but was having shitty runs there so I never even used it.
