Ok...not one single car audio place in my city has ever installed a f$#kin double din in a Audi. Wtf?

Does anybody have a Pioneer Avh-p4000Dvd installed yet?

If not Does anybody know if this 2din will require the same Dash kit, Mounting bracket as the Avic D3?

This is really pissing me off....they want to charge me $300-400 Cdn for parts and labour.

There's only one dashkit to my knowlege. It has a divider in the middle for a single din, but you just remove it for a double. Clicky Click

So i Guess I have to use this dashkit but what about the mounting bracket? The car shops are saying they have to custom make stuff. Thus $$$$

You need the Pioneer adt-va133 mounting bracket.

    More info: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...highlight=avic

Since the A4 wasn't designed for neither a single or double din unit, it requires an install bracket to secure the unit in place, a dask kit to surround the unit, and a trim ring to conceal the gap between the unit and the dash kit. Needless to say, getting everything to look clean and perfect is a little bit of a chore and involves some custom trimming.
