    Titanium package people...

I got a flat the other night. I went to swap it out with my full size spare but I couldnt get the grey lug covers off. So I had to pry them off with a flathead screwdriver, and it scratched the wheel a tiny bit.

How do you guys get this crap off?

Also, after I swapped the spare on I still have the low pressure light on. Anyone know why?

The lug covers are taken off with a tool the looks like a U, where the ends clip on to the covers and you simply yank em out. As for the low pressure, I'm guessing you have tpms and the system is saying low pressure because you didn't swap the device to the new tire? I'm not sure if the spare has one too...anyone?

Linke 4rings said, there should be a U-shaped tool. My dad has this tool in the kit for his a6, and there's a space for it in my toolkit, but no tool there.

wait...a tool in a tool kit, NO WAY!!!...lol...ya every time you swap a tire you have to reset the TPMS, there should be a monitor in your spare tire unless you got screwed by your dealer (they tried to shaft me but it ended up costing them money, time, and my rental car fees)...so just reset the TPMS and it should be fine...and beware, those caps are expensive (for caps)

I just did it a few weeks ago. Something must have happened during shipping. I just read the manual and it walked me through it. I don't remember but it was easy.

I know what you mean... It really pisses me off to have to look in the manual to find stuff out.

    Re: Titanium package people...

Use the wiper stalk to go into the DIS menu. There is a command in there that will allow you to reset the TPMS.
