Anybody have experience with B&G coilovers?

I just learned of this brand and am considering them now. What I like is that the height/perch adjustment is completely separate from the spring. I'd like to find out if anybody in the Audi community has tried these.

Re: Anybody have experience with B&G coilovers?

    Some info for the peeps......
S3 Coilovers are designed and produced exclusively by world-class motorsport technicians. Designed for street driving and occasional track use, each application combines race proven technology with the vehicle's unique design characteristics for the ultimate in ride and handling. Featuring B+G exclusive Speed Sensitive mechanism that automatically adjusts dampening for improved handling during high speed or aggressive driving conditions, each coilover system incorporates monotube gas charged shocks with dual springs perched on a fully threaded shock body. S3 Coilovers allow you to dial in height adjustment for the perfect combination of aggressive stance, and enhanced handling, without the teeth-rattling ride associated with other coilover systems.

Re: Anybody have experience with B&G coilovers?

i've been looking for B&G Coilovers for the B6 A4 for awhile.!!!

they get great reviews in the VW community. good low ride height and great comfort. MJM Autohaus sells them but only for VWs. :(

what website did you find them on? $1016.00 not bad at all.

I wouldn't know anything about getting a group buy together. I just learned of these today from my tuner. He just started carrying them. They're impressive though. I might have to give em a shot.

Talk to your tuner , if he just got them in, then a group buy might be right up his alley. He could get a lot of feedback in a short time and we could get a good deal. Do it! Do it! Do it!

They're not available for B6s yet. As B&G's largest volume VAG distributor and Audizine advertiser, as soon as they're available, best believe we'll post up here and let you guys know.

If it's any consultation, we run the B&G RS Line coilovers on our project SLC and love them. You cannot put a price on being able to adjust ride height without effecting ride quality, and that's exactly what B&G RS Line coilovers do. We speak with Mike at B&G on a daily basis and he'll be sure to let us know when they're available.....

A buddy of mine is running a set of B&G coils on his B6... Are you saying that a certain type (S3) of coilovers are not available for the B6? Any info would be appreciated. I'll be looking into getting coilovers and have a kid on the way, so something without a harsh ride is very important. TIA

Yeah, what B&G coilovers are you talking about, because the website I posted seems to have S3 coilovers for the B6.

I've heard good things from them on the VW side, but the said friend that has them on his B6 said they were pretty soft (too soft in his mind), but he didn't have anything to compare to since they were on the car when he bought it.

If their suspension is overpriced like their speakers, then it's probably 10k for the whole system

These definitely aren't bouncy. The Jetta Mk3 that had these was slammed and is super smooth.
