    1.8T Throttle Body Spacer

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    For Sale:

    I have 2 throttle body spacers for a 1.8T

    - Polished Throttle body spacer with magnets and extended bolts - SOLD
    - Non Polished Throttle body spacer w/o magnets and w/o bots - $105shipped

The magnets are suppose to help the air some how. No clue. The throttle body spacers were made is Solidworks and flow tested from what they said. So better air flow. These were custom made for my car and my girl car by STWA. So they will fit any 1.8T or a 2.0L VW MK4. I paid more for them then what Im asking. Theis were never used.

Ill lets the pictures do the talking for the size and so on. Also if u are going to pay with paypal please at 3%. Thanks

also he asked some good questions so ill post reposes

    WILL YOU NEED A GASKET?
Yes you will need one gasket. or you can your ur old one but it would be better to get a new one.

HAVE I HAD IT ON ANY OF MY CARS?
I had it on my 2004.5 Jetta GLI 1.8T and then sold the GLI with it on there.

    HAVE YOU NOTICED ANY IMPROVEMENTS?
From what i can tell in the GLI it felt like the car ran a smotther. And with the 1.8T ass you go fast and then let of the gas then slam it again it used to notice this tiny lag or it would stutter. (when my car was chipped GIAC X+) That was because when the air came back in the manifold on full trottle it just went it crazy and everywhere. Thats why they made me the spiral fins in the prottle body design.

    Hope that helps you out.

    WHY ARE U SELLING THEM?
Im getting rid of them cause im going to go BT and im going to build myself a velocity stack intake manifold so i will not need this. Also my girlfreind is getting rid of her beetle so she does not need it either.

    WHATS WITH THE MAGNETS?
They put the magnets in there cause it does something to the air going in and it should give u better gas millage. I never tested that out so u let me know. lol

If you have an aftermarket fmic, will it mess with the fitment of the fmic?

No it will not. because the difference of distance is so minimal. If worst come to worse u just have to adjust one of the cuplers on ur tubing
