Got my shit broken into Friday. Assholes stole my 8500 X50. I left it on the windshield for about 25 minutes, ran inside to eat, then while i was changing so i could go back out to clean teh car, this is what i come out to..









Worst part about it is, i haven't even had the radar for more than 5 months. Bastards.

nuvi 350...stolen on a sunday in broad daylight in a crowded parking lot.

My neighbors saw a vehicle that was out of place (very small area, everyone knows what everyone drives), and i happen to find a car that matches the description, that lives 6 blocks from me. Hmmm..

Anywho, they just got the radar. I had my NAV in the trunk, and $300+ in cash in the arm rest.

I was told that a very old Honda, boxey, flat black paint, tint all around, and dropped parked across the street from my house. They circled the area a few times. Then my neighbors went inside (i saw them when i got home), and while one of them was on the way outside, she saw the car drive towards my house. What sucks is that i just happened to close the house windows right when i got in cause it was chilly, if i hadn't done that, i would have heard everything.

After i covered up the window and cleaned up the glass, i went to drop it off at another location. While driving there, i told my brother the description of the car, and he tells me that there's a car similar to it that lives 2 blocks from them. We go to check out this car and everything matched! From the tint to the paint, to how low the car was (neighbor says the rear was sagging).

I have no enemies (not that i know of) and even if they were, they would have done more than just steal my radar. As for the guy that possibly stole it, i happen to drive down his street almost everyday since it is on the way from my house my brothers. Hmmm..

Police will absolutely do something. Call them and let them know the situation and they should send an officer right away. I've been in that same situation before and watched guys get arrested after stealing from my store.

I have considered an aftermarket alarm, because the alarm on Audi is just not loud enough. I was told that I could run into alot of electrical problems because our cars have such complicated wiring. I think I'll just replace the alarm horn for a air horn! Sorry to hear your bad news. Hopefully you will drive by one day and see it in his car and "take it back"

that really sucks. back in high school I had a 87 5.0 Mustang and the cool thing was to get black out covers for the headlights and taillights. They're very easy to steal, so I was stupid for having them, but hey, I was young. I had them a week or two and came out after school and someone had stole them. This one chick at school had a 5.0 too and the next day she had blackouts on her car. I went to her house, confronted her and dragged her parents into it. They believe their daughter over me and cops wouldn't come out because I couldn't prove they were mine in any way. I wish I had marked them on the inside with white out or something.

Speaking of thieving: Wifey comes home from Target, and I notice something odd on the rear hatch of the Avant --- the S6 badge is missing. I go outside to inspect,and as I get closer, I'm thinking, "did it just fall off or WTF?". It seems someone pryed off the fucking S6 badge with something sharp....... they chipped the paint and dented the hatch to do so.......I mean, like, what do those things cost anyway? 20 maybe 25 bucks? Man! I would give five years off the end of my life just to be there when they were doing it.......
