not worth it to be honest, if it's completely stock, UNLESS you're testing for a leak or something. but other than that a stock S4 usually boosts at 13ish?

I have one, my car will be chipped at some point. Its just helpful to use as a trouble shooting device. The stock car will boost around 8-9psi.

13? no. 7-9 depending on elevation.
yes it's very worth it. you want to keep an eye on whatever your engine is doing. if you're making less boost there's a leak, and not fixing that or not knowing about it can lead to a slippery slope of more problems. bad TBB, blown turbos, etc... get it...

Get one. Its nice to have and know that you can monitor your boost and see if something goes wrong rather than being in the dark.

Yes I think I will get one to monitor for problems because I have had turbo issues in the past, plus its a fairly simple install.

Look into the glowshift boost guage..

I hate mine for day in/day out driving, so I leave my hose and power connectors tucked behind the plastic plate that moves with the steering wheel adjustment.

Zip-tied the vacuum connector. When I want to check on things, or do a track day, I hook it up (it's column mount - I wanted to keep my vents stock).

Best of both worlds to me. But I'm not stock.

Yep, 21ish on idle & 26ish on downshifts.

If you had one you wouldn't be telling people that stock boost is 13lbs!, yes you should have one 100%, if I would of had one sooner I would of discovered my throttle body boot was torn sooner.

Just to throw in my $.02, I just found out a rip in my TBB, and I couldn't tell from the boost gauge. Im chipped, and it read normal all the way up to 15-16psi. So don't rely on your boost gauge for leaks!

That said, I vote for Awe vent gauge - try and pick up a used one, they're a bit pricey new.

i run at about 5 or 6 under normal acceleration in a stock automatic A4 is that ok? i just got the New South colum kit looks great
