Will Audi be releasing B8 S4 this Fall?

Sorry guys, I'm a noob. I really liking the new Audi A4... however, do you guys have any idea if Audi releasing the new B8 S4 this Fall? If no, what model are they releasing this fall?

They are releasing the A4 sedan and avant with the 2.0T and 3.2 engines. No official release date for the B8 S4 yet but I'm guessing it will be summer '09.

I'm plaining to buy a new car for over year and half now... and finally made up my mind for the new A4... I don't want to wait till next summer for the new S4

I guess i've to deal with the 3.2... is it 265hp for the new A4 3.2? I'm mean, 3.2 is still cool right?

Yeah 3.2 is cool. Enthusiasts typically go with the 2.0T and chip it simply because it has better driving dynamics than the 3.2 since it is lighter. Driving dynamics are going to be different anyway on the B8 platform so it might be more of a tossup. Won't know until people actually start driving them.

I think with the extra TQ out of the new 2.0T, its going to be a close race in a straight line with the 2.0T and 3.2, chipped, I think the difference is only going to become more apparent. I am looking forward to training next month in Sonoma, should be a lot of fun, I saw a few B8s in Athens and London earlier this month, they are beautiful and have a great presence on the road.

Damn.....the lease on my 06 A4 ends April 2009. Do you think AOA can extend my lease till September 2009?

Yes, they will extend the lease for 6 more months, so don't worry.

And you believe everything sales people say? Either way, it doesn't matter that much, since neither of them were designed for performance- that's where the S and RS come in.
