met with Michael @ Canyon Racer Motorsports yesterday and it was one of the best shop experiences I've had.
he's not only knowledgeable and good at what he does, but also the nicest guy to deal with.
all other shops should take a trip to his shop and learn what "professionalism" means.
I'm very pleased to have found a great mechanic (thanks to Quattro ) and will see him for all my needs for mods.
they're open on Sundays and that's a big plus for me as well.

I've recently had some BAD experiences with a local shop due to their lack of professionalism and subpar skills/knowledge - they knew how to talk cool and that's pretty much all they have...friggin' lame

if you're in search for a great mechanic, give Michael a call and you'll see why I had such great experience @ his shop.

btw, I had the RS4 rear sway bar installed by him and the quality of work was second to none and the cost was better than reasonable.

hey, Anthony,
only thing that might concern you is the distance....Michael's shop is located in Lake Forest/Mission Viejo area.
I'm always in O.C. on Sundays so it worked out great for me, but it's a long drive from Pasadena.
if you don't mind driving a bit more than an hour, you should definitely give Michael a visit

What you can do anthony is drive up thursday get the sway installed and head out to the OC meet and grab some in-n-out with us

i have to agree. mike is awesome, one of the nicest mechanics i have ever dealt with....he installed my gtrs kit a few days ago and the customer service was excellent! big up to randy as well for the good word

i can attest! took my baby over to mike yesterday. he went through my car with a fine toothed comb and gave me multitudes of advice. i appreciate mike because he was quite respectful and his professionalism was way above board!! i'm glad i found a great mechanic in the OC area. good looking out kooltechie!

yah, it's Brian.. good hangin out with ya too. let the time go by fast..

i was flashed Revo st. 1 the first time i was there. and i was getting an RS4 swaybar installed, but they sent him the wrong bushings, so i wasnt' able to get that done.

but i did come back the following weekend, and get flashed for stg. 2, and get the RS4 bar installed (the new bushings came in) he also checked my handy work on my exhaust system.

3 of the 4 bolts on my new AWE exhaust had issues (2 snapped in half just LOOSENING them, 1 snapped in half trying to tighten it).. so he dug thru another box, also from AWE and got 4 new bolts. these went on alot smoother, and tight. but he charged 10 dollars for 4 bolts.. of which i didn't even break. but whatever..

also, he was promised me the week before a 10% discount on my stg. 2 flash, but i guess he forgot that when he made the bill out. i didnt' say anything tho since he did check out my other exhaust bolts.. but i also was there for a good 5 hours. to get a flash, and swaybar installed. he had to jump over to OC's car since he came back

but still a good guy. and i love my stage 2 :)

can't take the full credit....Quattro referred me to Mike initially
just wanna emphasize on "respectful" and "professionalism" - something most other shops/mechanics/technicians should seriously consider.

I am just happy lots of people are having good experiences with mike, great guy worth the drive
