What color should I do my valve covers?

I have a silver car, with blue alcantara, and blue calipers. Piano black trim.
Black hoses, silver y pipe, gray intake mani
What color do you think would be best for the valve covers?

I want some contrast, and was leaning towards red, but I don't know if I should stick with the blue to tie in the interior.

Re: What color should I do my valve covers?

    hot pink w/e rainbows FTW

jk. I think as far as colors go, stay away from black, the reasons for this is it might make it harder to view certain things in and around the motor and valve cover motor, or maybe it's just me. For example a black hose, a screw etc.

I'd go with a color with more contrast, red would look killer in my opinion

Keep it stock? Painted valve covers look cheesy.

Re: What color should I do my valve covers?

lol what can brown do for you?! I wouldn't do black personally I think after all that work to paint them that color doesn't make sense. But thats me. If I were you and had that blue theme going some blue would look so sweet. I may do mine eventually as well since I have the samco blue hose kit maybe some other crazy color in there lol. good luck with it though!

Lightbulb Re: What color should I do my valve covers?

    here's my 2cents.

wrinkle Red is nice, has contrast, but is kinda played.
Blue is somewhat original on a silber car, and ties into your brakes/interior.
Black is conservative, but doesnt POP at all.

if not blue, id go w a custom color. something radical. like this... (i knew these pics in my fotobucket were good for something!)

Re: What color should I do my valve covers?

I was thinking blue to tie in everything together, but for some reason I was thinking it would be a little cheesy, thats why I was leaning to red.
